THE ONCE IN FOUR YEARS DAY IS HERE!!!
this year is a leap year.
and to honour it being a leap year
im watching leap year tmr. haha
okae.
its so cool that there is something called a leap year.
haha.
im just amazed that there is such a thing.
today was ss common test.
quite difficult.
i guess.
got back eng and science results.
have to wait for maths because mr jason went for reservist.
so maybe we are getting back the paper in term 2.
argh...
haha.
march holidays out of 5 days already booked on two days.
thursday and friday for ss remedial and literature remedial respectively.
oh gosh.
next week is last week of term 1 and tmr is the start of march.
how quickly time flies!!!

OH GOSH!!!
MY 100TH POST!!!!

okae. shall blog about today.
went to CHIJ Toa Payoh
for '' A Raisin In The Sun''
competition.
so basically there were 3 class doing extracts from the book
and catholic high was there as well.
so we were kinda like guests school??
haha.
must say that their drama and literature knowedge is really good.
bet mr yeo would be very happy if he saw it.
haha.
was reminded of him during the performance.
gave us more insight about the drama
and refresh our memory of the book.
but because it is a girl's school and when they cheered
they screamed.
and i mean scream.
like it was so piercing.
maybe because we are a mixed scha nd we are not used to it
and catholic high is all guys so theirs is low voices.
dint know that girls vocals was so high pitch.
haha.
anyway i kena sabo-ed for asking qns by rebecca!!
haha.
cos every sch has to make comment or ask qns and they pointed to me so i had to ask a qns
and just randomly asked a qns.
haha.
at least it was a logical qns.
and the guys were like centre of attraction.
haha.
came back from the workshop and went for choir.
learnt new song today.
quite interesting.
but choir today was really nosiy and restless at the end
but in between they were rather dead.
like seriously.
and i was kinda affected also.
haha.
did sectionals with mezzo sops and we were like dead.

SINGAPORE WON YOG 2010 BID!!!!!
yay ness!!!
was watching the telecast and like cheering like crap when heard the news.
vann msg-ed me and we were like YAYS!!!
haha.
today had science common test.
chemistry and physics.
chem was okae i guess.
physics equal to die.
hope can pass.
had choir todae as well.
finished this song
a japanese song
hi ka ri
song or something like that.
starting on a new japanese song again.
but sounds quite chinese.
haha.
did sectionals and played games.
something happened during choir
which made me feel like
i am a failed president of the choir.
its just so insulting.

okae anyway.
maths common test is on monday (argh! )
and social studies is on friday.
double argh.
so gonna die.
esp. ss
not that i dun like the subject its just the writing that kills me.
and the content knowledge that you have to know.
another week has just flew past me
and tomorrow is saturday again.

its gonna be end of february and march arrives.
DNT is rushing like bullet train
and mr chang wants to split the class.
cos its kinda big group.
have to do material list soon and get started on the project itself.

so happy today.
went to my grandmother hse in yishun
in my sch uniform
and saw my grandfather who i hardly get to see very often.
my heart ached when i saw how much he had aged and the wrinkles all arnd his face
talked to him a little while
but guess this will be the simple conversation but treasured conversation with him.
guess i wun know when i will get to see him again.
so wanna watch death note.

been bugging vann but she is not interested in the show.

i went to my mum old friend house yesterday
near old airport road.
she was looking after her nephew's son.
it really is very sad
because he is autistic.
a very sad thing.
he is turning 7 soon but is unable to go to a neighbourhood school
and has to go to a special school.
he is not mentally retarded or anything.
its just that
he seems things inverted.
like we read words and alphabets in the right way,
he reads in an inverted way.
so basically he sees his life through inverted images or like looking into a mirror.
but he is quite handsome for a 7 year old and has beautiful eye lashes.
if you know anyone who is autistic,
do not pity them.
instead encourage them and show them that they are not very different from us.
accepting them and praising them is the best thing too.
when he finished his food we praised him.
we gave him rewards for anything he did well.
i feel that it is rather sad but the parents have no choice and they did not choose to have an autistic child
but we must applaud their bravery in continuing with life and having the strength
to live life and provide for this special child.
when we were leaving the house last night
he suddenly came and gave me a hug.
i was surprised and found it a sweet gesture because
i did not really play with him
just talked to him.
when he was hugging me he seemed kinda sad to see us leave.
i did not really want to stop hugging him because he was like a little bear.
anyway he was very sweet
and i valued this day of my life.
the next time i see him
i really want to tell him
that
you are special. you are unique.
you may encounter many ugly things in life later on
but do not be afraid to face and overcome them.
no matter what others may say about you,
just lift your head up high and be a gentlemen.
because if you have done nothing wrong and yhour conscience is clear,
there is nothing to be afraid of.
YOU are capable of greater things.
although he may not understand this at such a tender age
hopefully it will make an impact in his life later on.
each and everyone of us is unique and special in our own way.
never forget this.

blogging about the YOG bid and letting others know.
this way more youth singaporeans would know and support the bid
which might increase out chances!
if the YOG bid is given to us
think about how singapore's economy can grow!!!
with youths from all over the world coming to singapore
and it would really put us on the sports map.
it will be an honor to Singapore
and im am sure all the Youth Singaporeans athletics
will feel more motivated to do well in the games bringing glory to
SINGAPORE!!!
as this is an inaugural event, it would be a lasting legacy to singapore and
being a very young nation it would give us recognition
and be more than just a
little red dot on the world map.
hopefully all singaporeans will join and unite together
to win the bid and do our country proud!

so many things to say.

14 february was a bitter sweet day?
maybe more of bitter then sweet.
thanks to everyone for the gifts,sweets and chocs given to me. really appreciate it.
thank you too. for the im-sure-its-very-expensive gifts.
although you tell me to not worry but if you know me you will know that i will worry.
and i am scared.
scared of you losing out during lessons.
scared that you will fall into the wrong side..
i just want to say that the thngs i told you, i had picked a wrong day and wrong time to tell it to you.
please forgive me for this wrong thinking.
i also want to say that telling you those things may hurt you
but to me it has already hurt me twice as much.
its just like backstabbing.
i take the knife and stab you in the back.
you will definitely feel pain.
but this time the pain i felt is twice or more than the pain you felt.
i did what i did because i was thinking from your point of view.
it was for the better.
to tell you earlier and not give you false hope is better then giving you hope then telling you.
to me i feel that both ways will hurt no matter what but the latter is far worse than the first one.
have you ever thought why i always did'nt want you to send me home?
because i was so afraid that once i got used to you sending me back and when i have to break the news to you and we will just become total strangers again i wun get used to walking home alone.
this is just my thinking.
i wanted to be independent. because relying too much on someone or something is never good.
all this i took into consideration before i decided to do what i did.
i really just want you to know that i appreciate the gestures and gifts and all of them are precious.
because i know that these gifts were once given to me by a very good friend.
i just hope that you will complete this year and end it off with effort.
a few weeks may be too long to get back on track because common tests are coming up.
hope you cang et yourself together before its too late because its hard for me too.

ohs forgot to say that sec 1s came yesterday.
got about 20 i think.
sorted into sections
my section has four juniors again.
same as last year.

but dunno why i think that this year the sec 1s specially like to talk
and 1 also show a little of attitude.

maybe i wun mind stepping down afterall.
if the juniors are gonna be like that
cos they will be the ones taking over the sec 4 batch

today was the first day of school after the LLLLOOOOONNNNGGGG
chinese new year break.
well a little not used to it.
haha.
maybe because the break was too long.
anyway. school started was a little on the slow pace.
DNT was interesting.

so i have to improvise and he gave me many ideas for my artefact.
guess im doing the MRT idea.
assembly was on

left there arnd 11 plus.
cos have to squeeze with the rest of the dunno how many people there
and it is seriously not a pleasant sight.
heard a caucasian saying to another caucasian guy

i was like hello. take it as a annual sight.

24 hours yesterday.
so after the midnight raid(haha. )
went to Loyang Tua Pek Gong temple because my parents wanted to offer prayers
last night as today may have alot of people and again another mad rush.

HAHA. SO I PROUDLY SAY THAT TODAY IS 4.2 DAY!!!
YAYS!!
okae retarded.
anyway. shall post something rather funny.
went to tampines mall with my parents for groceries shopping
for the annual chinese new year.
haha.
anyway. my mum went to NTUC arnd 3 plus in the afternoon
and she was telling me later
that when she wanted to buy bread
there were only 4 loaves of bread left!!!
like can you believe it?
then those tray of eggs with 30 eggs on it?
completely gone.
ALL GONE!!
i was thinking
man, singaporeans just like to leave it till the last minute
but cant blame them cos everyone wants fresh stuff
but its quite overwhelming is'nt it?
like you the the mad rush for these few days
and suddenly on the first day of chinese new year
everywhere is like a dead town.

anyway there wae a gastronomical number of pple at tm.
the carparks were full(when is it not?)
and people were milling and spilling over the tampines mall and century square.

i went to look for a necklace
you know thsoe kinda long ones..
but shopping alone is not fun.
my mum went groceries shoping and my dad
went to look at electronics.
dint see anything suitable.
even if i did it was WAYYY to expensive and totally off my budget.

oh yes.
back to the funny issue.
well my mum was so proud that she managed to get live prawns??
out of 32 prawns 9 were alive???
quite scary.
haha.
so came back and they were still not dead.
so put some water in a basin and added salt into the water.
apparently my mum gave me the honours of adding the salt
and i accidentally sprinkled it on a prawn.
guess what?
we managed to witness the one and only
PRAWN SHOW!!!
okae it sounds wrong
but basically the prawns were jumping.
yes JUMPING!!!
like out of the basin.
my mum and i screamed and ran out of the kitchen
but my dad just calmly said
its just prawns.
well HELLO???
its scary okae.
oh gosh im laughing as i recollect this incident.
anyway prawns like to have formations.

MT was total slack-ness.
just copied stuff and dnt the teachers were like

must say it was the most entertaining one so far.
CIO performed and slideshows about traditions.
dance club performed
modern mix with chinese.
felicia and benita sang.
another slideshow of teachers and students giving their chinese new year wishes to the other teachers and students.
qutie nice actually.
